Basically I had some trouble with my Corsair CX750, I had 3 units, and each unit would make some weird noise under load (could this be caused by the GPU?)

System specs:
i5 3570k ~ 4.2ghz
Gigabyte GA Z77 D3H
Gigabyte HD 7950

I've been searching for hours and this is the only PSU that appeals to me, however it only has Over-current protection, Over-voltage protection and Short-circuit protection.

Thank you

The CX is Corsairs cheap model, it's kinda like a C-Class Mercedes. It's made by Channel Well, which is ok, but I prefer Seasonic.

The FSP RAider is very good. Other choices I recommend would be either the Corsair TX 750 V2 or the XFX 750. Both are Seasonic.

Weird Newegg and Mindfactory lists the Raider 650 as Bronze and the psu database lists it as Silver rated. The psu database also lists the Raider 650 as "Haswell Compatible", so I'm assuming the newest model is Silver while the older models on the shelf are Bronze.

Unfortunately i live in Belgium and i can't buy anything from newegg, would it be possible if you took a look at the site i got my compontents from (mindfactory). I'd love a a single rail 650W+ but I totally have no idea which one to buy, oh sidenote, I do overclock.

Edit: A TX 750? i heard those made weird noises too under load. :|

A LINK included to his site helped , not my Avatar or Signature , and my Badges give people confidence.

I learned plenty from a member koo888.He's the best.

He asked about the psu he listed. I gave him choices, he can look them up at his site himself, all he needs is the name. I guess some people are just too lazy.

Also if he get's the newest version of that FSP like I said, it's a better unit than the Seasonic's.

Personally I'd rather have the FSP Silver rated 750 than the SEaonic Bronze rated 650.

Corsair is pretty good, a 650W PSU will do you just fine.
