Mouse glitchyness while ONLY playing games

Hi,
I'm a relatively casual and poor gamer with a Toshiba Satellite C855D with Windows 8. I can play games like Starmade, Minecraft, Starcraft 2, Team Fortress with occasional lag, and Blacklight with even more lag. The problem is, whenever I move my mouse while I use the keyboard (like moving my ingame character or what not), my computer will lag for a second and my mouse would sort of jump to somewhere else instead of fluid mouse movement. I get fluid mouse movement when I move without using the keyboard. When I'm not playing games and I type random gibberish while moving the mouse, it moves fluidly. Sometimes my mouse and keys get stuck and I'm moving in one direction and it takes 2 seconds for me to get the control back when I'm playing a game. So, is it my computer is so antique (which it should not be) or is it that I have a problem with Java or something (since most of the games I'm playing have Java in them)?

Well I'm using a mouse yes that's a bit old, but runs fine when I'm not playing games and jamming at the keyboard typing random stuff. The mouse is wired though, and I'm using the keyboard on my laptop.

I'm also getting a lot of lag these days with my laptop, which really frustrates me as I do art with GIMP.

Thats a shame, I was hoping for a case that matches my mouse issues :p But mines wireless, same behavious but I'm fairly sure mines due to signal drops which I can't prove.

As for the keyboard, Look up your laptops manufacturer and model and e-mail the maker and ask what, if any rollover protection it has. It sounds like my keyboards issue where if I'm holding 4-5 keys at the same time for more than 3 seconds or so the circuits underneath jam and loop the signal (it carries on walking in one direction by itself), ignoring all the other keys I press.

It'd be my first guess for the keyboard issue, let me know what result you get?
