I am going to use dual monitors and someone told me to get one with 4GB of memory instead of 2GB. Should I do this?

------------------------------

I only see two 4GB models and they are both selling out very quickly (within minutes). How long will this be the case for?

------------------------------

Which of these two would be better to get?

EVGA with 2 fans: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130925
Gigabyte with 3 fans: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125462

Solution
1. Using several screens, yes. Some games such as Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite utilize almost 2 GB of VRAM at my 1080p screen using the older GTX 670. More VRAM will help performance with higher resolutions.

2. If demands are high, then more GPUs featuring 4 GB of VRAM will be made. Simple marketing.

3. I would certainly get the Gigabyte, it features better cooling performance and lower noise levels. The Gigabyte Windforce 3x cooler has cooling potential of 450 watts, which is one of the beafiest GPU coolers on the market.

if you are going for surround get the 4gb version.
