Hey! I've currently got the time and have began to get really interested in making my own gaming rig for the first time. I'll have a few of my friends helping me build it so there won't be any problems because they have all made their own rigs before. Anyway, I'm going to be saving around £700-£750 to spend on a gaming PC hence I have picked out some parts here which I think will make the PC worth every pound I'm paying for it. I know that not all components are compatible with each other because for now, I'm just getting a rough idea of what parts I'll need and how much I really need to earn. This is what I've gathered at the moment but I think I could lower this somehow, if I can get the right people to tell me how to bring this down with something I might not need. I'll be playing games which will be graphics demanding so I think the GPU will probably be the best one.

Anyway here's the list:

(CPU) i5 4670k-

(Case) Zalman Z11 Plus

£53.99

(DVD Drive) LG GH24NS95.AUAA 24x SATA SuperMulti Internal DVDRW Bulk

(Sound Card) DYNAMODE 5-Port USB PCI Card

£9.99

(Multi Card reader)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dynamode-Inch-Internal-Reader-B...
£4.06

TOTAL £806.11
BUDGET £750.00

Note: May still need to add a CPU cooler which could be an extra £50.

This is probably parts that don't go together but it's to give a brief outline of what I'm looking for within a £700-£750 budget. If anyone can recommend parts or advice on this build, I'd be really grateful. I'm terrible with computers actually, especially with hardware because most of the time I have no clue. If you can help me mix and match to bring it down to £750, thanks.

That PSU is increasing the price though, also the motherboard I was told is compatible with the build itself.

Right'o, if I get that motherboard I'll need to cut down elsewhere because my budget is getting higher, not lower. Heh.

I'm thinking about changing my set-up and it will safely get me under my budget. Changing the GTX 770 to a GTX 760 will save me around £100 which I can use to get the SSD and the rest can go towards my OS. Opinions?
