Hello

I have a wd10jpvt and this hdd enclosure .Kindly check the specifications also for me please
http://www.techcomindia.com/index.php?vaction=productdetail&navact=computer&prodid=772&catid=106

Its the branded and only available case in India as far as i know. The WD10jpvt is 9.5mm in height.
Now my question is
I have installed my hdd in the case and there is minimal gap (say just like a needle/pin like gap) between hdd and case surface.
HDD companies mention Do not cover the hole on their hdd's.Is it normal??Will my hdd be ok.

But if we think in most laptops hdd are placed upside down(hole surface down) Then where this "Do not Cover Hole" goes??Also in portable hdd the drive is mostly covered. There also how this technique goes???

I read that this is breathing hole in hdd for maintaining air pressure. But how does it maintain where there is no air(upside down, inside portable case)

Please tell me this and about my hdd. Will it be ok in case?

Thanks

Solution
"Do not cover hole" = don't put tape directly over it.
Any gap....even 0.1 mm...is enough. It's just looking for air pressure equalization.
