Hello, I did not know what category to put this so I placed it in systems, the issue is this, I have been having some annoying graphic/audio flickering occasionally, mostly when gaming or my hard drive is doing something, for example if I begin a download (regardless of size) or virus scan the flicker begins this did not happened before and began to happen after I reinstalled windows, I also changed hard drive (got a used one) but I don't know if is my HDD damage or something happened to my OS, I don't even have much things installed, I tried everything from updating drivers to multiple solutions but the problem still persist. I can't say is my drive because when a friend gave me the drive it never flickered with the OS included (before I installed mine) Nor my OS because is the same I have always used and can't say is My Graphics card because this did not happened anytime before (not even once) or if my motherboard is the cause I don't know. If someone happened to experience something like this can you help me?

My system:
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1gb gddr5
Phenom X3 8750 2.4ghz
4GB ddr2 800mhz
Corsair cx430
Drive 1 seagate st3160815as 160GB (os)
Drive 2 seagate st1000ml010 1TB (storage)

thanks in advance.

yes it started after I got the new drive and installed w7, but the os included with the drive never flickered even once in the days I used it, my previous os was free of this problem, my cables are in properly.

The 160gb hdd worked perfectly in my friend's pc no flicker no nothing, I used my integrated gpu for quite some time before I got my gpu.

You were right it was the gpu, I've done tests this two days and it seems like it was a bit misplaced in the pci-e port, after adjusting it the flickering is gone, thanks for your help.
