Hey there everyone! I was curious to know if I bought a simple Cosair h100i Liquid Cooling system, if it would be possible to pop the stock tubes off and replace them with "better looking" more bendable tubing?

My desktop is themed all white and black interior, and it would be nice to have some white or clear tubing inside the case. Is this as simple as taking the device before installation and getting some right diameter tubing and then filling the cooler back up? Or is there more to it?

In other words, can i buy a liquid cooling system, take out the old tubes and replace them with new ones?

Thank you everyone! :)

I have heard that that is one of the best and most silent and efficient closed liquid cooling systems. Is that true? :O I am getting about 150 dollars next week and probably going to get either the corsair h100i or the swiftech. How does the swiftech compare to the h100i?

Apples and oranges, h100i is closed loop, h220 is not. You can check the pump wattage and radiator material for your self to see what I am talking about here, h100i is CPU only forever, h220 is expandable to cover what you may with in the future....

Gotcha. I just read up on it. I think I am going to get that one then and find some nice white tubing. Can you recommend a website that carries good tubes for liquid cooling systems?

This is a real good place for anything water,

Their prices are average, service excellent, shipping fast.

Of interest to you also, both rigs reviewed and compared in 3 reviews. Martin is pretty much the authority in WCing hardware, if he does not state it, it may not be true, if he does you can take it to the bank.
