The litepower isn't going to provide you the extra juice you think it will. It is called litepower for a reason... It is a '700W' PSU with 48A available on the 12V rail giving it only 576 W available for the CPU and GPUs. The VS650, while rated 50 W lower, has 2 A more available on its 12 V rails for 600W of capacity.
Strange how PSU labels are all full of lies and illusions isn't it? This is why I always insist that not all PSUs are created equally.
The VS series hasn't had any good reviews done on it because it is 220-240V only so no north american reviewer can easily test it. I would steer clear of both of those units and try to find something that has actually seen a review.
I don't think I would recommend the Corsair VS series either. I see that they use some CapXon electrolytic capacitors which are considered to be some of the worst quality electrolytic capacitors ever made.
The Corsair VS series isn't very good at all. It's the only Corsair PSU series that I wouldn't recommend. All the others are great.
What's your CPU, GPU, and maximum budget for this PSU?
My CPU is the i5 3570K and my graphics card is the Galaxy GTX 770 GC 2GB. They recommend a 600w PSU for it. My budget for the PSU is under $100 AUD. I'm trying to be a little conservative on things other than the components that are important for gaming/video editing like the PSU It cannot be over $100.
