I just formatted my computer and have got the ram limit set at 3.25gb.

It is windows 8 pro with media center 64-bit.

I'm someone who has tried a few things and fount solutions to other peoples problems but I am finding that none of them work.

I tried;

Try running MSCONFIG. Then select the boot tab. Click Advanced Options. At the top right you will see an option called Maximum Memory. Make sure that is unticked. If you had to untick it you will need to reboot. See if all memory is now available.

but it is already unchecked. (i did tick and restart, then unticked and restart too)
didn't work.

I went in to the BIOS and check the limit set, but the limit is not limited. Also just before I formatted there was a full 6gb.

Any help will be awesome!

I have 2 desktop computers one that I built, I know that one's everything, but this is an Aldi comp that is now a few years old. I just use it for web search and tv use. The lack of the ram is making it freeze, only reason for the question.

The answer to that is No idea... all stock for an Aldi (Medion) computer about 5-6 years old.

Once again, any suggestions will be awesome.
