network cable unplugged?

I am having a hard time understanding this problem and don't know what the issue is.

I have a t-link wireless usb adaptor connected to my PC, i'm trying to use ICS to my onboard LAN to get connection to my ps3.... but anytime I start a connection (data moves across the line) I get the "network cable unplugged" on my NIC and then my ps3 fails to connect to the internet.

I've tried a different USB ethernet adaptor to see if it was the onboard NIC and same issue... tried a different cable....same issue, i'm using a CAT5e patch cable to make the connection.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Edit*
I think i was a tad unclear, I am connected to a wireless router but am trying to share said connection through my onboard LAN so that my PS3 can connect via ethernet

Try disconnecting from the wifi and just connect the ethernet.

But if i did that i wouldn't have access to the internet...i can ping the connection from my pc with no "error" put as soon as i start the connection from ps3 to pc it gives the error/wigs out
