LSP ? Is that PSU even a branded one?

Also what are your specs?

You'll probably do well to get a name branded one.

Seasonic, Silverstone, Antec etc.

It may be the fan or the load circuit on your PSU, but I've never heard of that brand! You're better off buying a branded one like X79 mentioned.

I think I'm going to return it, would any corsair branded psu be a good choice?

Hmmmm. Try to check what's making the noise first before you return it. But I think it's really the fan. hihihi. Just like mine. loL!

The brand is Ultra, the model is LSP750.
At one point Ultra made an acceptable PSU, the X-Connect and X-Connect X2 as well as the X3 were decent. Johnny Guru doesn't seem to like the newer X4 models though. The LSP and LS are like Corsair CX line more budget oriented.
Ultra is owned by Tiger Direct's parent company Systemax.
