Hi,
I had a Dell XPS14 and the hard disk died. The technician from Dell came out and replaced he drive under warranty and gave me the dead drive.
I am now working on a toshiba laptop and I need to get the data off the dead drive and copy it onto my new computer or a functioning external drive.
I want to do this myself as I did take it to a computer shop already, but $300 later the drive they gave me with the supposed copy is not working either.
Can anyone tell me what parts I need to connect the dead dive, where to buy them and how to do it?
