the problem is this when i reboots my PC it changes its size but resolution remains same. Is this is a problem with my monitor or my operating system.

What do you mean by changes size?

Does the resolution stay the same and you get a black border? Do you have the desktop going off the monitor?

What kind of monitor and how is it connected?
How do fix the problem after you reboot?
