Have been looking at getting a new desktop for quite some time now. I started looking on ebay originally and had 3 links too some computers I would have chosen from. I'd been advised to build my own PC as it would do what I wanted it to do much smoother. (Here are the 3 links btw.)
OPTION 1
OPTION 2.
OPTION 3

I was told mixed opinions on the 3 but all the people who answered told me to build a custom PC. Now I don't know a thing about spec's or anything about computers really. I want a computer that can run mmo's smoothly with a decent fps and enjoyable time playing rather than my old computer running at 20fps on lowest settings. I wanna be able to run on medium/high settings at a decent fps (40/50). Mainly SWTOR, and the new upcoming ESO.

Any tips or tricks to building my own desktop, where would I go? Who do I talk to? What do I want in it? I've got about £300/£400 to spend, I'm on a budget as im only a student :p

Splendid
First things first, if you want to game then all of those machines have awful graphics cards.

Second, what do you already have? Windows licence? Monitor (if so what resolution)?

Third, you say your current computer manages 20fps, what is it?

Medion MT 7. It is in bad condition at the moment I suspect the power supply is broken but I haven't had it looked at yet. Won't even turn on! Has windows vista, a medion tft monitor about 18''. Not sure about the resolution tbh with you :/ Like I said quite an amateur when it comes to all this stuff.

UPDATE: MT 7 Was bought and never modified all specs and what not will be completely stock but yet again cant check them out without running dxdiag and it would need to turn on for that :p
