I am going to buy arctic silver 5 but I don't know how to apply the paste properly on my cpu which is used for games and some programmes:|

there are many ways like the peasized blob in the middel, an x, a line spreading and so on there is no best way but the most common used and recommended way is the peasized blob in the middle.
The presure of the heatsink will spread it evenly, you don't need thermal paste when you're using a stock cooler because the thermal paste is pre-applied.
