I'm going to uprgade my gaming rig's motherboard. I want a motherboard that has 2x pcie 2 x16 slots because I'm gonna install 2 gtx 460s. My current motherboard is an asus m2n68 am plus. I know my processor that is an athlon ii x2 240 is aging but come on, i can still use it to play games. So i want a motherboard that is also compatible for my processor. Oh yeah, I still wanna use my 2x 2GB DDR2 RAMS. I'm on budget.

Hey man. Not many motherboards support DDR2 rams anymore. Also, with that processor and 2 GTX460's in SLi you would be facing a HUGE bottleneck and would more than likely be overtaxing your PSU as well. So yeah, DDR2 RAM has to go.. Athlon has to go. Until you can afford a CPU/MOBO/RAM combo i suggest you don't make any further upgrades on your PC :(

Can't be done ....

You want a 790FX AM2+ motherboard, but SLI is only available on AM3+ 'black socket' motherboards. I am not aware of any nVidia chipsets like the AMD 790FX AM2+ that provided x16/x16.

There is (was) a 2P dual processor nForce SLI motherboard (made by Asus if I recall correctly) for AMD that might have x16/x16 but it was s939 and DDR ...
