Any suggestions to this are great so far i'm reusing my old GPU from my other computer and i have multiple spare hard drives and i can get a copy of windows 8 for this trying to limit other spending and get main components.

Since you already have a 6870, the IGP of A8, which costs at least 40$, will be a waste anyway. For the same cost, this setup would be much better for any tasks ( 6600k's CPU performance is only equals to a FX4170 ):
