Looking to get a PSU that can support GTX 770 tri SLI and saw the one below on sale:

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

It has 6 PCIe connectors, gold certified, the works...however I can't find any benhcmarks how much GTX 770s take in tri SLI. GTX 680s would work without any issues but since the TDP is higher on 770, I am not so sure.

Thoughts?

I think you are looking at 700-750W for just the cards. From there add in your CPU and I usually use 50W for the rest of the system. (You'll need more if you are powering a "real" water pump, lights, have lots of hdds like myself, etc.) 925 Stock if you have a 125W AMD CPU, 875W for an Intel quad. A 1kW Gold should be fine, I'd go higher if you have OCing plans.

Thanks, awesome breakdown of exactly what I needed to know...
I am already overclocking the FX-8320 to 4.5Ghz and plan to overclock the cards so I think I need to invest in a 11000-1200Watt unit. An extra 50 bucks could go a long way down the road...

Agreed. It is a gold unit so it probably could. But if you are going to buy a PSU anyways you might as well buy one that you know will work. Burned up computer parts are no good.
