Is there any noticeable difference between Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3, Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 and Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3?

(Noticeable for average gamer who's not going to do any kind of overclocking).

And does this difference justify price disparities?

Best bet may be to go to NewEgg, check each of these under their picture then click on compare, can look at a side by side feature comparison - prob looking at chipset maybe, additional PCI-E slot, additional SAT or USB ports, that type of thing, maybe better on board sound

They make absolutely no sense if you are just gonna use the rig for gaming or anything else for that matter given your rig is decent.

I don't think that there is any mobo named Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3. Yeah,there are differences between the two(990fxa and 970A) in sata,usb ports,pci-e slots,power phase design e.t.c. links:
990fx>970A
the 970A hs two pci-e slots running at x16/x4 mode and the 990fxa has four pci-e slots running at x16/x16/x4/x4 and many other,check out from gigabyte's official site of from newegg
