If you have the money a custom built desk, and find a real office chair place and talk to them. Those cheap ones at office depot, target, etc are junk in my opinion.
Though I will own up my desk is an old school teachers desk that is probably as old as my grandfather or older that someone was giving away. (When duck and cover was invented they were thinking about desks like this, I have full confidence that this thing can support a pickup truck). And I used and old wooden office chair that was just as old for about 10years till it got replaced by a newer fancy office chair, I am still torn on which I like more.
First priority in my opinion is the chair, talk to the person on what you need. And have them help you get it properly adjusted, than get a desk to match it.
Personally if it were me for the desk I get something that surrounds me on 3 sides in a somewhat small space (not claustrophobic but my setup would probably make some people) so I could easily reach each side with minimal movement so I can have my gaming rig in front. Laptop to the side, and my work area on the other side. And a lot of other things going on in the build.
