with---8GB RAM
and 620 PSU
also 500+250GB Hard are constant b/w the up two scenarios.

I am more than happy to play games at medium. Monitor's resolution is 1440x900.

I am inclined towards the 1st rig(3220 with card) but 4 cores are very attractive in the 2nd case.

So, i am open to suggestions.
Thanks.

ps: budget doesn't allow me to get 4430+Graphic card

The 7770 will absolutely destroy HD4600 in gaming.

If gaming is something you plan on doing with this system then get the I3 and 7770.

Yes, get a discrete gpu rather than an IGPU (like mine) haha

so you guys are very certain that 2 cores won't stress (the crap out of) processor in future in terms of gaming.

hahahaha I don't know who, but money can surely buy a lot of things, including happiness. hahahaha In the future, of course it might be a factor that you only have 2 cores. But for now, only a few games utilize 4cores. Almost all, about 90%, use 2 cores only. If you can find an older i5, go for it then go for the 7770. The hyperthreading isn't worth it.

Depends on what games. Graphically intense games like Bioshock Infinite and Crysis will push the CPU to the brink. But there's very few games that will otherwise.

hmmm, BioShock Infinite is on my list. Others being Hitman absolution, DMC and new Tomb Raider.

again i am not looking for playing at highest/ultra settings. I am just looking at decent settings BUT atleast want my rig to go a bit far in coming months.

you could run those games on a APU set up if you want to go real cheap. i know you would only get 30 FPS in tomb raider.

Try a 6350 and 7770 or 7790 if budget permits
970 mobo costs 95$ from ASUS M5A97
Get the G Skill Ripjaws 8GB Dual Channel 1.5V 1600Mhz
Just at 400$

Id avoid Intel Mobo's

I'd take gigabyte

TBH, The FX-6350 is at agood price and performs better
