I used to have windows 7 but when i changed it in windows 8 i used a software to activate it.It was all ok but as soon as I installed a different software to activate it windos crashed.I restarted my pc and when it turned on windows started checking somthing and this continued for about 1 hour. This was done but windows crashed,So i decided to install windows agaig. While installing windows 7 i had to decide wich hard disc i wish to install the windows...so there were both seperations.I installed it in C: and as soon as it was done i chenced my comptuer and i couldn't see the other dick. When i go to My Computer/Menage/Disc Menagment i can see both discs but in my computer the other one won't show. Please help me to resolve the problem.
Thank you

OMG !!!! The problem is solved.I did it myself by trying. All i did is that i changed the drive letter to B: and windows recognized it... Thanks god !! kenrivres thank you wasted your time to my problem.
When in disk management is the second partition showing up as unallocated space? If not, what is it showing up as? If it shows up as unallocated space then you might consider formatting it. If it doesn't show up as unallocated space then it is possible it is a recovery/restore partition. How much space is available on the second partition?

Thank you kenrivers.Yes is uncalled space as I can see because under volume it isn't writed D: as it was before and at the other disc under volume is written C: .I have forgoten to add this, if i connect my hard drive to another computer both discs are shown. So i had put my files to another computer and they are safe now, so I tried to format both discs, install my windos agaion (Windos 8) but no solution.

Are you now saying that you can't install Windows 8 at all or the second partition is still not recognized? If the second partition shows up in Disk Management as unallocated space you may need to format that partition for it to be recognized. It should be safe to do this since you have moved the data from the second partition. I would recommend this only if the second partition is reported as unallocated space. During the install process of Windows 8 it may only format the partition you are actually using for the Windows 8 install.
