I have been trying to figure this out a very long time and i definitely need help with it.

I have a 2g AMD Radeon HD5670 in my computer. It worked beautifully for about eight months, then out of nowhere my computer doesn't recognize it anymore.

It automatically uses my onboard graphics. It doesn't show up in Device manager. I deleted all the drivers and related hardware, trying to re-update it. The install disc it came with will install CCC (Catalyst control center) but the center cant find my card and defaults to no options, and even the official site doesn't recognize my card.
My fans come on so I don't think the card is broken?

i also downloaded Device Doctor and it found my card, led me to the drivers download but those don't do anything.

How do I fix this?

If you have another computer I would put the card in there and see if it works. But to me it sounds like a dead card or your PCIE slot on your motherboard is bad. Also I am sure you have done this but make sure that the card is snap all the way in the slot.

I Really hope it's not a bad card. i don't have another computer so I can't test it. But how would I check the PCIe slot?
