Hey guys, I've been wanting to build a computer for some time now, and after much research I've pretty much finalized a system. However, I want to know if there is any way I can replace ANY components with cheaper ones that DON'T have a noticeable performance decrease, or a very slight one.

Here is my Rig:

Cpu: i5 3570k
Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
RAM: Ripjaws 8gb 1600
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
GPU: GTX 770 4GB
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
Power Supply: SeaSonic 620W 80 plus bronze certified
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04
OS: Win7 Home premium
Monitor: Asus VS247H-P 23.6 inch
Keyboard: Cooler Master CM Storm quickfire TK
Mouse: Vengeance M65

Total comes to $1670 (From pcpartpicker.ca). I will be OC'ing. I'll be playing mainly FPS Games (Battlefield, COD, Far Cry, etc.)

Thanks alot for the help!

1. I don't necessarily have a budget. I am happy with the posted system and would like to cut down on price more. The cheaper the system the better, because I'll be able to save up that much quicker.
2. I already stated this. (Yes)
3. Yes
4. Gaming, Gaming, Gaming

Thanks!

I do like LED's. However, I don't need nearly as flashy a case as the 410, just my friend has one and he recommended it. If there's another case that's just as good that also has LED's that you can think of, that would be awesome!

Thanks again,

Zay

Heh I understand the attraction of that case, it is smexy. But unfortunately the only way to save money on cases is to drop all the dress and tinsel :p You have to make personal calls on looks vs money ;)

One that wasn't a choice for me, I had a budget to work to. So boring cases r'us for me

I have come accross the COOLER MASTER Storm Enforcer case, it's $10 cheaper than the 410 and seems to be a good choice. Thanks for the help man! :)

Please continue to make recommendations for alternate components guys!

Thanks!

True it is cheaper but in almost no circumstances, especially gaming, does the 8350 outperform the 3570k.
