Downclocking gtx 660 oc edition

hi all

i had to downclock my gtx 660 oc from msi because of crashes in bf3 etc, it works fine now and doesnt crash anymore but could it be causing me fps drops or sluggish performance?

1) Card was factory oc'ed, i downclocked it to +- nvidia stock
2) I used msi afterburner to underclock
3) yes stock oc and downclockted to stock
4) about 50 degrees C
5) 750w coolermaster and 8 gb kingston at 1.5 volt and 1333speed

What is your pre oced clock (including boost clock)? It might crash because of not enough voltage to the core. You should be contacting msi support if there were bios fix to your problem. If your problem is rarely happen or does not happen to other people maybe its your card. If so you might want to RMA your card because you paid more to get the oc version instead of regular one.

About the performance drop it might not noticeable if the oc and its boost does not differ much than stock setting.
