So the computer I'm getting comes with the AMD Radeon HD 7850(regular, non-OC version). I know it can do a LOT, but I want to know how well I will run games like BF3, the upcoming BF4, MMO's like League of Legends and DOTA 2, and then games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The computer comes with the AMD FX-8120 3,1GHz. I heard you can overclock this processor but it's VERY hot when doing so. As a newbie(I haven't delved into tech enough to know much about OC'ing) should I overclock at all? And if so, how and what cooling heatsink should I use to replace the AMD FX cooler that comes with it?

Another question though: Would Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010(3 PC product keys) work smoothly on Windows 8?

Thx in advance.

The Internet has a wealth of information regarding the performance of Pitcairn-based GPUs (the 7850 and 7870) that posting here should really have been a last resort. To answer your question, yes the 7850 would run the BF3, LoL, DoTA 2 and BO2 with eye-candy and smooth frames at 1080p resolution. However, I don't know how BF4 would run since I haven't seen its system reqs yet. For specifics about the 7850's performance, check this Tom's review: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7870-review-benchmark,3148.html

Alright, that's nice to know.

How about OC-ing the FX-8120? As a person that's not yet used to that kind of stuff should I do it and what are the pros and cons? What do I need to make sure the CPU stays cool?
