Since you are buying it late this year or next, you should go with Intel Haswell, GTX 780 or wait for the HD 9000 series.
I wouldn't recommend 32gb ram unless you are sure you are going to use all of it. I would use the Corsair 860W PSU or something similar, 1200W is just too much for 2 way SLI.

There is a 4K Asus monitor but that is going for $4k++.

You might also want to add in a 256gb++ SSD in that budget range. Else the rest looks pretty good.

I don't know about blu-ray because nowadays CDs are rarely used but its your choice.

- I would look at the new i7-4770 CPU's...you'll need a LGA 1150 motherboard as well
- your power supply is way too much...1200W is no longer needed...a good 80+ 850W would be enough
- AMD graphic card are pretty bad with micro-stutter right now...so I would avoid crossfire. I would suggest a GTX 780 and save some money to buy a second one for sli if you need more power later.

and I agree...32gb of ram is way too much and using all 4 slots will slow the ram down a little

Your PSU choice is far too expensive and overpowered. You'll never come close to 1,200 watts with this system, and there's never a good reason to spend $350 on a power supply for a consumer PC. Also, unless you're going to be doing some heavy video work, 32GB of RAM is just too much. You won't use it. I'd say 16GB is the max, and even that would just be for bragging rights. Also, i5 is not better than i7 when overclocked; it's just more cost effective.

This is what I came up with for your budget. The keyboard and mouse are really whatever you want. I just went with what I use. It has a SSD for fast boot times. I decreased the ram like most people suggested. I opted to go for a pretty expensive case, so that is something you could definitely change. I opted for the 780 as was suggested and there is enough room on the psu for sli in the future. The Sandy Bridge extreme is going to be one of the best cpus you can buy right now, but the next generation of Extreme processors are right around the corner. I got pretty close to the top of your budget, but you can easily drop over 100 from the price by going with a regular keyboard and mouse. I have a few friends with this processor, and it runs cool and quiet. This is just a broad list, and you can change most things like motherboard choice without changing the price too much. Good luck.

I doubt a single GTX 780 is going to run next gen games for 5760 x 1080 @ smooth frame such as 45fps+. OP could save around $350 with a normal i5 Haswell/Ivy CPU. OP probably already have K/M setup so with a normal i5, a second 780 from this build, isn't far out of range if you're looking to game on 3 monitors.

I sort of assumed it the multiple monitors was for multitasking, but I would definitely agree. If he is going for that resolution for gaming, there would have to be at least another 780.

Good luck with it. I know a mouse and keyboard is something you have to like, so i am all for you changing it. To be honest, the green on the keyboard is crazy bright until you turn it down. Like vinhn said earlier, this probably won't run a game in 5760x1080, but you could change up a bit on the gpu and go with an sli or crossfire option like you originally had. I am one of those people you were looking for. I spend time just messing around on pcpartpicker and wishing I had more money. My build is only worth about half of this, but hopefully, I will be able to build something that your budget could make. Happy gaming.

You might also want to save until you have the cash to buy it all at once. I wouldn't recommend getting parts by parts because sometimes new stuff are going to be release it is could be better fro the same price. Just save until you have it all. You would also be wasting your warranty by buying say a motherboard and leaving it there for a few months before being able to buy everything else.

You don't need a 3930K and a 1000W PSU for gaming. You could get way less of a PC and then put the rest of that money in the bank. And extra thermal compound is a wasted purchase no matter what your budget is.

This would be a far better use of your budget:

$1K less and you'll get just as powerful of a system. Most games will never need hex core CPUs or 16GB of RAM. Buy whatever monitors you want and put the rest in the bank.

Well it isn't its sole purpose. There will also be on the side fruity loops and maybe get into vid editing slightly... though doubtful. Want enough power to be safe in case one day I'm like "HEY! Let's try this and see if I like it...". Also if native rez is 1920x1080, 1ms can I put a 27" monitor surrounded by 2 24" monitors? The 2 are 144hz unsure on the ASUS VS278Q-P.

Well I thank you all. I have decided on my build (As long as there are no fatal errors). I am now in saving mode as I will buy all parts at the same time just so any bundles, discounts, etc. will be applied. The overall build went over budget when I realized what it would take for what I really wanted but I am happy with the result. Total cost on N.E. is $5051.80 BEFORE discounts and without any bundling. W/O monitors, peripherals, and powerstrip/xtra thermal it is $3419.88 (Within Budget)... So It will be a little longer for extras but worth it for a dream. Again TY all.

1 Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-3.5G - OEM $11.99

These two things are ridiculous wastes of money. You do not need a $219 surge bar when you could get a $20 one at Home Depot and it gets the job done. If you need anything more than that buy an Uninterruptable Power Supply from APC. There is no need to spend $219 on a surge bar. Major ripoff. Your fan will come with thermal compound and Silver 5 is ridiculously overrated. No need to buy the same part twice. You might as well take that $11 and throw it away.

1 Logitech G13 USB Advanced Gameboard $79.99

Is this a controller? Just get an XBOX 360 controller for $30, no need to waste $80 on one.

1 GIGABYTE GA-X79-UP4 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $239.99

1 CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 $144.99

Again all this is a complete waste for gaming. You could drop the X79 platform and go Z87 and save 1/2 of that money, there's no need to overspend when you don't have to. 1KW is a bit excessive as well. You could use an 850W PSU and be fine.

1 Sentey Extreme Division GS-6700 SPIDER Sandy Mate Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case $129.99

I would veto this case choice - Sentey is a tier four or five vendor at best, they produce a lot of junk. Get yourself an NZXT Switch 810 or a Corsair Obsidian 550D instead - those would be far better. Anything but Sentey.

PART 1: The Surge bar comes with a manufacturer warranty that covers computer damage so it's buying another warranty that is lifetime. And I've had the fluid come leaking or not in packaging and I always like to have a spare in my electronics box.

Part 2: It is a programmable 21 keypad with 3 memory settings. Personal preference for gaming.

Part 3: Reviewed Z87 and didn't prefer it over X79. It is a better performer in the long run and is better for GPU with 40 lanes. Already dropped down to Rosewill Lightning 800... Forgot to update.

Part 4: I read lots of great to decent reviews and only some bad ones. The negative ones talked of issues unimportant to me mostly and a few things I can live with. (Mostly stuff like "Plastic feels cheap", "Fell and broke mount", "Lower HDD Difficult To Install"...) But I will Keep looking as it was just a last minute "WHAT am I gonna PUT it in that isn't a NINE HUNDRED?!" choice. I liked the card reader and design. I know.... Shouldn't put it on here if it's "SUBJECT TO CHANGE".

It still seems like a massive ripoff to me. I'd never pay $100 for cables or $220 for a surge bar. I'd do some research into the warranty and whether or not they actually honor it before purchasing. It sounds like a scam to me.

Not necessarily. If you want to overpay fine I won't stop you. This would be a far better power supply though than the one you chose: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011

This is exactly why I have a serious problem with store reviews. A lot of cheap crap gets overrated and a lot of legitimately produced products don't get the high ratings they should because of some idiots not taking the right precautions prior to installation and wind up frying their products. That's when a lot of BS and misinformation gets out about certain manufacturers and their reputation for faulty products. They get traced back to the misinformed store reviews.
