Hi All,

I am just about to upgrade my old Phenom II to a new 4670k, but I am having trouble deciding on a board. I want to spend around 150$ and will possibly SLI in the future, most likely a pair of 770's. I was looking at an asrock extreme 4 or asus z87-a or similar, but I am pretty lost. I also plan to do some minor overclocking, nothing major though. If anyone has any input that would be great.

Thanks!

What about the msi g65? Theres a combo deal at newegg and I can get the cpu and mobo for 408. From what ive read msi boards arent the greatest, but are they that bad?

Well there is that too, and that brings back evil memories will have to check, but sam e thing happened on their initial mobos in either the P67 or Z77 mobos, except just about ALL of the different models got the bad slots, and it was reboot city, they'd start, turnoff, restart in and endless loop, think about 7-8 models....bad part - they knew about the problem, they would tell customers, there was no problem they knew of and to RMA (about a month process), didn't recall the mobos, and didn't have retailers pull them off the shelves - even though they KNEW about the slots being overly tight - here it appears to be the one model, but.........
