DellStudioXSP 8100 Problems

4 beeps come from my friend's Dell, means RAM failure. Didnt touch the RAM. Only upgraded the heatsink and GPU. Tried reseating the ram, didnt help. Tried removing MOBO battery and starting fresh. Dont know what to do, any suggestions?

Try removing the new GPU and see if it boots, if so, go into BIOS. Is this a new graphics card for another card or was it on on board graphics? If it was on-board then change to PCI for the graphics and shut down, ninstall card, if it takes a power cable (insert that and try)

I managed to fix it by switching out the RAM sticks and finding the broken one. Thanks for replying! I really had no idea what to do and was just hoping for the best. Now i just have to put the other two ram sticks inthere and hope it doesnt crap out on me again
