Hi guys ! It's time for me to start thinking about new RIG. About 5 years ago I was right here asking all kind of questions about back then super new and High-end shiny i7-920 and X58. Since then I was looking on chipset and motherboards development and correct me if I am wrong but there were NO enthusiast grade chipset from Intel sense X58 and indeed Z87 is brand new enthusiast grade chipset and all other may be much powerful than X58 but there were not graded as enthusiast level. So with my thinking this is a time to start thinking about new parts and how I can save money. And what I came up with is this. The only things that I can leave as is are:

Full Tower Antec 1200 Case
XFX HD6970 PCIx GPU
Light On DVD-ROM
Monitors ( I am using dual)
And this i s very important question for me a PSU. It's Antec Quattro 1000

This is actually reason for this post. Can I use my current PSU with new RIG.

Here is PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371012

HEre is New mobo I am eyeballing: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131974

I am sure 1000w will do , but connectors and rails, I am good on that ?

Thank you guys, also I understand Z87 just came out but is it worth waiting cause it seems like high-end chipset like Z87 is not going to be released any time soon, so only thing that may come is new CPU may be I mean Intel 4th gen but just diffirent one. Right now I am looking to get 4770K case with current RIG back in a day I got cheapest model 920 and overclocked it to work like 965X that cost 1k ..vs 249$

Thank you guys !

Solution
Not sure if your PSU has enough Floppy connectors - only has 2........;) couldn't resist, yes should be fine unless you get into heavy tri or quad SLI/Xfire.....sweet mobo, you'll love the 4770K
