hi, i am getting the seasonic 550w gold modular psu and i was wondering if that is enough dor a gtx 770 and a 17-3770k, i will be overclocking a bit though. Should i go for a higher end one or stick to the 550?

Yes it's more than enough for your setup. Seasonic PSUs are always the best stuffs available.

The 550w is fine for stock but if you plan to OC move up to the 650W. for some headroom.

I don't see how can that setup consumes over 500w even with OC-ing.

The 650W is $15 to 20 more than the 550w at Newegg. For that kind of money is worth having the headroom.

hey, I am gonna oc the cpu to 4.1ish and also oc my 770, but i would really want to save those $20, is it necessary for the extra 100w?

The 550w will work but for me $20 more for the build is cheap insurance.

Even the Falcon northwest tiki which host an i7 ( with OC-ing ) and a Titan only uses a 450w 80+ bronze PSU from Silverstone which is rated under Seasonic's 80+ gold models, so you know my opinion.
