Hello, I posted awhile back about a build. I was told to hold out and wait for the new processors coming out the Haswell series. Anyway's I'm back for advice on mainly processor and motherboard maybe GPUs all high end . I'm a bit conflicted on some things. I don't want anything bottle necking so like having a super high end GPU that the processor and motherboard can't handle. If I don't have to spend 3500+ then it will be nice without sacrificing performance.

I've thought about getting Intel I7 4770, i7-3930K, i7-3970X. I'm kind out of the loop on good motherboards for gaming and performance.

I am tempted to get the 7990 GPU, or perhaps a 790 when it's out. I haven't had much luck with Nvidia with Bf3 and their drivers though.. I really like the idea of the duo chip cards save a bit of space, not that I'm worried about that though. I have a massive case.

Any help with this is appreciated.

NVidia has the best multi-GPU solutions in the new GTX700 series. It's not even close. They've solved a lot of micro-stutter issues.

*If you're gaming on a single monitor, the following solutions are total overkill (except for 3D).

Since your willing to spend the cash you should get either:
2x (GTX770 4GB), or
2x (GTX780 3GB or higher?)

My advice for what's available NOW is the EVGA GTX770 4GB with ACX cooler (and backplate):
http://www.evga.com/products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3778-KR

As for other parts:
- Z87 1150 motherboard
- i7-4770K
- 8GB 1866MHz or 2133MHz (more than 8GB is overkill unless you have non-gaming tasks that can use it).
- 180GB SSD (Windows and apps)
- 2TB or 3TB Hard Drive (Steam games, backup IMAGE of C-drive, media, downloads etc).
- Windows 8 64-bit OEM
- START8 (for W8 Start Menu etc)
- good water cooler for CPU (Corsair H100i ?)
- case (compatible with Corsair H100i dual-slot cooler)
etc.

Its extremely hot, lots of micro stutter issue (which is presumably going to get fixed on 31st July with the new driver release but I wouldnt hold my breadth going by AMDs driver track record). Regardless the 7990 is not a good card. Its powerful yes but dissipates way too much heat. There was an article on toms a week ago titled "7990 CF: Red wedding of graphic cards". Have a look.

If you are spending 1k on graphic cards, get a Titan if you are playing on 1440p or higher resolutions. If on 1080p get the 780. Both are extreme performers.

since gtx 780 is available, never get titan.

In some months new ivy bridge 6 core cpus will be released.

I'm trying to build a PC also but have figured out what im probs getting. Any feedback would be great. Here's the stuff anyway (fits into your category well). This is a complete list of everything you will end up needing so monitors, mouse, keyboard, headset included, so if you don't need them just take them out. Also depending on the country you are in, these items may not be available or will have higher prices due to taxes and different suppliers. For example, im in australia and for this build after lots of looking around at all the parts, its going to cost about $3600 instead of the $3000 it suggests. (I already have the mouse and keyboard)

Thank you for all the replies so far, I will be gaming on a single 30inch monitor for now. I've thought about gaming on multiple displays like eyefinity but I think it's kinda a fad thing and not all games support it.
