gtx 660 ti sc FAN speed

hi, my question is very simple :D
anything bad happens if i keep my gtx 660 ti sc fan always at 80% (max speed using evga precision X)
i mean if the fan can broke or anything else :D

Running a fan constantly on high should not significantly effect the MTBF, but the MTBF is a statistic derived from historical data and bench testing.

My question is why you would constantly run the fan at max: isn't the sound annoying? Running the fan(s) at max in stress testing and gaming is fine, but most people prefer a quieter computer.
