Need help for selecting ram and gpu

Hello, i wanna upgrde my system RAM and add a gpu to it
My system details
Processor:intel pentium dual core cpu e5800 @ 3.20ghz
Ram:2 GB Transcend ddr3 jm1333klu-2g
Motherboard:gigabyte g41mts2p
1.So what should i consider when i buy the ram what things should match in order to compatible the new ram with the old one?
2.And suggest be the best graphics cards available in the market below 100$.
3.Another question which graphics cards are better in performance ddr3 or ddr5?
Please send me the links of them which are best to my computer?

DDR5 is better for your graphics card. But first we need to know what your motherboard is, and how many slots it has for RAM in order to tell you what RAM to get, and how much.

The GPU is on sale, if you jump on it now, you get it for under 100$

Replace your old RAM with this, as this is the max you can have.

Also, before you get that card, need to know what your Power Supply is.

No, you only have 2 slots. So use the 2 sticks of 4GB RAM

Yes, you could, but they should be the same speed. What speed is yours?

Also, 8GB is the perfect amount of RAM for gaming.

Well it is usually recommended to have the same manufacturer at least, if not identical sticks, for optimum results, but it should work fine with a 2GB and 4GB stick like you plan.

Are you sure you only have 1 stick of RAM? Or is it 2x1GB sticks?

Are you wanting to keep your old RAM for budget purposes?

Dual channel is always better. I selected a good brand for you here. If you grab that it should work with your current one. Honestly though, if you could spare the 25$, it would be way more worth it to get the 8GB kit I posted earlier.

I just bought this RAM and Installed it combining with the other 2GB RAM i have but after installing the computer isn't booting up.The Cpu fan starts running and stops.It is repeated.
I tried interchanging RAMs and also reseated cmos.
I also tried placing that 4Gb single RAM.But no luck.
The computer boots up when i place the 2GB ram which came with the computer .It only works when i place it in DDR3_1 slot but it won't work when i place it in DDR3_2 slot.
I got frustrated restarting and replacing the slots again and again.
What might be the problem?
Please help me.

It is possible you received it DOA (dead on arrival). RMA it if you can. ADATA isn't exactly a top of the line company. Probably should have stuck with G.Skill.

It's a 4GB stick of DDR3. It is compatible with your motherboard, which supports up to 8GB of DDR3, 2x4.

I would think it is bad RAM.
