Connecting my new system to my home wireless network?

Hi all,

So i have ordered my 1st home build pc (components). I have a 'silly' question i need answering!

Will my PC be able to connect to my home wireless broadband automatically with the following parts, or do i need to buy a seperate card or something?

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 ATX AM3+

Of my components i assume one of these will potentially control the connectivity!

You will need to get a wifi card or usb dongle. That m/b does not have wifi built in.

you need a separate wireless card or usb adaptor to connect wirelessly

There are some desktop motherboards that support wi-fi, but based on the manufacturer specifications I just looked up, that's not one of them. You'll need a separate wireless adapter, which can be pci-express or usb. I use a Rosewill RNX-H150G which is usb.

I would highly recommend a PCIe card over a USB dongle. I had the opportunity to review a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704162 a while back, and its performance was excellent. You'll find my review on 02/04.

A wired connection is most undoubtedly preferred over a wireless connection. If a wired connection is impossible, then, as suggested prior, a PCIe wifi card is the best option
