AMD FX-4130 or Intel core i3-2120 budget gaming build

Hello,
I'm building a gaming PC and I'm on a real tight budget. I've sorted out 2 CPUs at my price point.
1. AMD 3.8 GHz FX 4130
2. Intel 3.3 GHz Core i3 2120

which one is better for recent games?

Are you planning on overclocking, in single core programs the i3 performs marginally faster but the 4130 is generally cheaper and is unlocked so it has more overclocking headroom unlike the i3.

At the same price of the i3 you can gget the FX 6300 instead which would be a better choice...
