Yes.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-760-rev...

Definitely the best GPU in the below $375 market, and it sells for $250. ahhhh

More about : 760 cheaper faster 7950 boost

June 25, 2013 8:27:24 AM

I'd definitely say cheaper. But as far as speed, it's a wash with the 7950 Boost...

according to tomshardware...760 is faster and has a lower latency in ....BF3, FarCry 3, Crysis 3....which are the games I play.

It kills me cuz I was gonna sell my 660ti to buy the replacement, but the price has already fallen on the 660ti and the 760 is cheaper.
So, I can't sell my 660ti for a decent price. sob

IMO the 660Ti is the better card, a couple of fps's more for an extra 20w of power consumption just isn't worth it and if you fold as well then its a no brainer really.

The GTX 760 is an amazing card for 250 dollars and the best part is that it allows you go 3 way SLI

So does the 660Ti and 3 of them will use 60w less power doing so!

I've always thought of the 660 ti as a card really not worth it especially with that memory bus. If i had the 660 Ti i would simply go SLI but if i'm buying new the 760 is the way to go especially the Asus or Gigabyte version.

I don't what the big issue is with the memory bus, my two play everything I throw at them @1080 and triple figure framerates. I don't play BF3, AC3 or Crysis 3 though. And the 660Ti's are stronger folders than the 760 and I shall say it again, they use less power!

I guess it all boil's down to what you plan on doing with the cards. In BF3 the only real game i care about their 4.5% better then a 660 ti and about 50 dollars cheaper. They may eat some more power its not that bad

I don't care about how much power is used, I care about good game play. Currently I have a 660ti that plays BF3 on Ultra so I can't complain but I'm thinking about BF4 and wanting Ultra too. I'm a little surprised there is a gap in price between the 760 and 770. It's huge but if you look at performance then you might wonder how.

Nvidia left that gap open to drop the 760 Ti in just incase amd surprises and releases something great in the 299-330 price range.

Wow why are they so high across the pond? I just looked at newegg and it seems the 660 ti is being heavily discounted. Cheapest 660 ti is 254 and the cheapest 760 is 5 dollars less

That's yet to happen over here but if and when it does I might buy a third 660Ti just for folding.

Locally, the 660ti was $315 for the longest time, and on Monday the 760 came out and the 660ti dropped by $50. Clearly they are trying to clear inventory.

The reviews are pouring in...760 is better than the 660ti and a much cheaper initial price. Sucks for anyone that bought a 660ti or 7950 in the last month.

It's only a tiny bit faster and is OK if you don't need the cores for folding but I still don't like the fact that it's a 170w card whereas the 660Ti is a 150w card.

I own a 660ti and I'm saying that it sucks to be an owner cuz the 760 is awesome. Although I bought mine the day it was released in Aug 2012. I'm just venting cuz I was planning on selling it before a comparable model came out. And it did. damn.

An extra 20w doesn't change the PSU. So, it's inconsequential for most buyers.

The thing is....you can't reasonably suggest a 660ti or 7950 and 7950 boost anymore.

Whilst you are both correct I just can't get excited about the 760 in the same way everyone else seems to be getting, it just doesn't do it for me in the same way that the 560Ti did in relation to the 460 it replaced. Sorry chaps but my juices just ain't flowing for this one!

Totally true. And I'm praying that AMD fights back (ie...keeps the prices down due to competion). but Nvidia won 2013. I hope next year AMD wins.

I like amd's gpu's. They make some really great products but i cant buy them till they fix the crossfire drivers. They're a mess.
