Hi all
I am a new member and i have just signed up to this forum so i could post something that is bothering me. I have came here on numerous occasions to solve issues for my customers, so i am somewhat confident that this is the right place to start to try and get some answers.
First ill start with problem.
I play this online MMORPG game DC Universe Online, I report issues that i SOMETIMES get, and it seems everytime i do, they tell me the problem is my machine having hardware issues or i have interfering 3rd party software.
Now the thing that i have witnessed in the past is that when i report such things they want me to do a MSConfig & DXDiag file and send it to them EVERYTIME, i dont know why because its not like i build a different new pc every week, lmao.
They say the problem is with me, now the thing that im not quite understanding is that 80% of the time i can play that particular game without any issues, but when i do get little issues i ask around with other people i know that play the game and also around the world and they too have the exact same issues, time and time again also.
Now if the tech guys from this game in what they are saying is true, then nearly everyone around the world should have the exact same pc specs, lol....
So i thought why not come here to tom's hardware and see what you guys have to say.
This is my build;

I am running Virtual Box program, which im having an ill feeling that this software could be conflicting with system files and so on, but i would like to be 100% sure before i uninstall it, as i use this type of software to host different OS on, so when people call me for general trouble shooting i can instruct them step by step, on where to go and what to do. Im only mentioning this because i have had issues with this before about a year or 2 ago, but not totally sure if it is it again and i dont want to uninstall it unless i really, really have to.
I seem to have no other issues with any other software or game, just with DCUO.
Which is really bugging me trying to troubleshoot wtf is going on. But if my system does have errors that need addressing i would like some information on this too.
other games i play on my system with no problems:
Starcraft 2 - Wing of Liberty
Battlefield 2 - Bad Company
Assissin's Creed 1 & 2
Warhammer 40000 - through STEAM
X-men Origins Wolverine
Im somewhat tech savvy, and by looking at my MSConfig above i know there might be errors but i dont know if its that really important enough to worry about as i have no issues with anything else besides that game DCUO.
Question:
Is there a problem with my build?
Do i need to fix those errors in msconfig report?
Or can it be a 3rd party software inferring with things?
Should i raid/mirror through BIOS instead of through the OS?
Or there is always common issues with online gaming as a whole in general?
I updated drivers through MICROSOFT UPDATE, maybe install from manufacture instead?
Im even open to suggestions if there is anything that im doing is wrong, but i use this pc also for my business, plus part time personal activities, such as gaming and so on. I work from home.
Thanks for listen to my long essay but i am wanting to see if im doing or there is major issues with my stuff.
