socket 775 cpu need!!

hi frnds, am looking for a socket 775 processor... but need better perfomance than dual core e5200 2.5ghz cpu(currently am using) i dnt like to change the mobo(low budget).
....Can anyone suggest me a core??? am not looking for i series or anything else..later i wil upgrade it.

You're probably going to pay a lot for an old processor and not get much of a performance increase. Those board use old RAM, and are bottlenecked all over the place compared to a newer system. I would save your pennies and upgrade everything later on, because right spending money for a few more hundred mhz isn't worth it.
