In the Cooler Master Elite 120 advanced case can i use Liquid Cooler Cooler Master Sedion 120M + Blademaster Liquid CPU Cooler or any other budget liquid cooler
and where can i put the fan without MODDING the case .... i m ready to remove the small fan which comes bundled..

Solution
If I could redo my build when I ordered the parts, I would have gone with a BitFenix Prodigy case. Big enough for full size components, long video cards, plus more fans and room for liquid cooling radiators. I might upgrade to that or the Elite 130 when it comes out, which I do not know when it will release.

My setup is in my sig. I have a Cooler Master GeminII M4 cooler installed. It is running 5C lower temps compared to the stock Intel cooler at idle, and 10C lower on full load. Still not running as cool as I'd like, but that is a fault of the case.

What motherboard do you have? Is the CPU socket directly next to the PCIex16 slot? My ASRock board is that way, and I had to mod the heatpipes on the cooler to make it fit without...

I usually maintain between 33 - 43C when idling, basic use. Gaming, around 55C. Encoding DVD/Blu rays with Handbrake - 65C. Prime95 stayed below 70C.

That's with a 69W Xeon with no IGPU, that is not overclocked. I also have all 3 HDD bays filled, so there is not much extra space inside, so airflow is not the best.

That's why I want to upgrade to a different case.

I recently modded my case.

Took the front panel off and replaced the metal plate with a wire mesh screen. Reversed the fans, so that air is intaked through the 80mm on the back side, and the fan next to the HDD cage and the one up front act as exhausts.

Dropped temps by 5-6C all around.
