I am going back and forth over the:

Dell 27" u2713 @ 2560x1440rez
vs
Dell 24" u2413 @ 1920x1200rez

My new computer specs:
Intel 3770k 3.5ghz
eVGA GTX 780 SC
16g gskill ram @ 2133
750w psu

My goal is to do gaming in 2560x1440rez with max settings at around 60fps. Right now I am playing Dota 2, Skyrim and a couple shooters. Anyone see any issues with the 27" ?

Thanks

Unfortunately the GTX780 and any single graphics card is not powerful to max out ALL games at 2560*1440. It may do it in Dota 2 and come close in Skyrim though.
A SLI configuration is necessary for extremely high settings at such a high res.

EDIT : Sorry double post.

Wouldn't you run into a similar problem with a 120Hz monitor because then you will be trying to achieve 120fps versus 60? I have no experience with a monitor over 60Hz so maybe one day I will know the joy. I have a 2560X1440 monitor at work though and would love to hook it up to my rig at home, sadly I cannot.

well if you get a 120hz and you only hit 80fps who cares you will be getting minimum of 60 compared to maximum of 60
