7970M says its a 7660g

I have a msi gx60 laptop.

So I was wondering what the temps are like on this gpu. After loading HWpro, cpu-z and looking at win8 display adapter they are all telling me the gpu is a 7660g ?

Is there something I need to do to fix this? I went to amd's website and put in the newest drivers.. same thing.. now im on the newest beta drivers,.. same thing.

your cpu has built in graphics, which is the 7660g. you also have a 7970m, which is separate. when gaming, the 7970m should take over, while the 7660g handles the desktop and 2d stuff to save power.

ok test that I ran 3d mark and it came back as a 54258 with AMD Radeon HD 7660G(1x) and AMD A10-4600M.

There is a program on the laptop "switchable graphics" which i have the program set as High Performance.

looks ok to me. when you click the link for your 3dmark score, click "show result details", and under secondary graphics card, it states 7970m.
