Hi all,

Putting a new build together, finally retiring my C2D. Just wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on my part list, price is not too much of a concern, but 2000 is generally what im sticking too, and im right about there. I know the corsair dom plat is not necessary but i like the looks, and aesthetics do matter for me.

Im open to different opinions on optimizing my part list, maybe i dont need a 750W psu as well, etc. One thing for sure is I would like green fans, and the only decent Green LED case fans ive seen are the bitfenix spectre pros, unless anyone else has other suggestions, keeping the green theme as much as i can.

ok ok, but since im only playing on 1080p would 770 SLI be overkill? i notice you bumped ram down to 8GB, i only went 16 to ensure i have enough for future. But im guessing 8 is plenty for now and to come for solely gaming. Im open to ATX sized mobos, but i didnt state that a mATX build is what i was going to try this time, something a bit smaller. Will keep your suggestions in mind though, surprised you got a hefty SLI system configured for 2k lol.

Well you 8 gigs is really all you need and for 2k theres not really much more you can get besides more gpu or more storrage. It's your choice if you take out that extra 770 you have a lot of room for anything else you could want

so your advising against a single 780? too much premium for the performance?
