Good Desktop For Gaming???

Hello, i have about $1000 to spend on a gaming computer. I have chosen this computer, but i would like to here your guys opinions to make sure i madw a good choice. If you guys have any other suggestions, it has to be from BestBuy and under 1k.

Thanks, and im looking to play games like Minecraft mostly and will be playing call of duty soon. Tell me everything there is about this laptop please!!

For $1000 you could build yourself a PC that will outperform that rig hugely. You may want to consider this route.

Well, one thing I know is that's not a laptop. If you want a gaming machine and you're in the market for a desktop, I'm strongly recommend building yourself, since you can get a mediocre box (like the one you linked) for 1k, or you can build a beast that will wipe the floor with that thing for the same amount.

i cant build a computer since i am only 15 and my dad claims he doesnt have the time to do this with me lol. But since i cant build one, is this a good one for the money?? Also if i built one i would have to buy an OS which would run me a lot more money.

the OS (Windows 7 OEM) will only set you back $90...everyone is right...you can build a system for much less...Best Buy is a rip-off. if you have to buy pre-assembled then look at this:

Best Buy's selection sucks and it's overpriced. If you can order from Newegg/Tiger/Amazon and put it together you can get a much better deal.

You could also add a Hyper 212 evo (cpu cooler) for 37.99
You could probably get a cheap keyboard and mouse if those are needed

EDIT: also there is a 7970 for $330 on sale ifyou wanna really beef things up
