I purchased the kraken x40 watercooler, and it says that it is compatible with the LGA 1155 processors. However when mounting the bracket on the back of the motherboard, it seemed the only way it would fit was a little lopsided. I have the AS Rock LGA 1155 motherboard, so it should fit.
In any case the cooling unit shorted out and almost caught fire, and I'm looking at getting the corsair H90. However it looks like the bracket that goes on the back is the same, and I'm wondering if this could cause complications.
