Will e6700 dual core processor bottleneck a gtx 560 or ati 6850?
Both of the cards give the same performance by the way.The gtx 560 is maybe faster than the 6850 but only by a little.I was thinking of buying one of these two cards but I want to know if my processor will be a bottleneck.
Thanks in advance.

I guess we are talking about the newer E6700 Pentium 3.2 Ghz, right? Not the old 2.66 Ghz Core 2 Duo...

I would believe that it will bottleneck the GTX 560 Ti... I don't think that processor is that powerful - maybe it wouldnt bottleneck a lot, but im sure you will get more power of out that card with a better processor...

Here is a guy, who is bottlenecking the GTX 560 with a Q6600 (Quad Core), so you might be

But this is the gtx 560 non ti so its weaker and much cheaper than the gtx 560 ti so I don't think that the cpu I have will be a bottleneck well not by a much.Maybe by lets say 5-10%,the gtx 560 non ti will work with a 5-10% less of it's full potential but only in more cpu demanding games like bf3 for example in other games it will work with full speed.
