guys i have a simple question. what if i put this card HD7870 or a HD7850 to a PCIE 2.0 slot will there be any bottleneck issues on this?

also iam looking on this on
Asus P8B75-M LE + 7850
or this
Asus P8H61-M LX3 + 7870?
what would be a the better choice?

also iam looking up for a
FX6300 black ed or should i go on i3-3220.

please advise. this is my first time posting here on toms i hope someone can help on my first build :)

neither of those mbs will work with the FX6300.

and no... you should have no bottlenecking from a pci-e 2.0 slot with that card.

oh sorry my apologies bro, i miss typed it. it should be
Asrock N68C-GS FX VSL/combo.

is it true that FX6300 will kill i3-3220 in all aspects?

depends... the fx6300 will beat down an i3 in multithreaded games/tasks. in games which only use 1 thread, you'll see the i3 manage to perform better... how much better depends on the overclock you get on the fx... if you can get it up to 4.8-5.0 the fx will perform almost identically in single threaded tasks.

~not a fan of the asrock mb... i wouldn't assume it's compatable with the fx6300 out of the box, according to the product spec page, it's only compatable with a bios update. so i would make sure the MB comes with the 1.3 bios. else you'll be SOL

well thanks for that informative answer. well ive seen some threads here saying that i3 single core utilization beats FX6300 everyday but what if game started to require more? will i get more from this FX6300?

i mean i can upgrade to i5. iam really looking forward to this one. well i needed to do more research because i will not be upgrade for atlest a year and a half.

in multithread the i5 and fx6300 are about on the same level of performance.
