Motherboard Driver Options

I have an ASRock Extreme4 Z77 motherboard, it's a great motherboard. I just installed my SSD and am in the process of gathering drivers. For my motherboard, I am presented with two options for USB 3.0 drivers. One from Intel and one from ASRock. (Look here.) Which one should I download/install? Intel? ASRock? Both?

Download both, check both driver's Properties in the General tab / Modified: Check the date both were modified, and install the one that's dated most recently...

I just went ahead and installed both. If they end up competing with each other somehow, then I'll just uninstall one.

The mobo uses boththere's a front and 2 rear ports managed by Intel, and ASMedia does the other 2....same way with SATA 3 - ports are broken up between ASMedia and Intel

Okay. You do install both drivers because in this motherboard you have got the feature of alternate option for your drive. you If all drivers would be install in PC then your PC will obviously work properly in both options.
