My friend is replacing his x6 1090t with a i7 3770k and with selling his x6/board hes also selling his CM V6 GT, and is wondering what would be better the New H60 with push pull? or a Xigmatek Dark Knight II in push pull? At the moment the pricing is the same to get the cpu and cooler as he alrdy purchased the board. Saw a test showing a charts of coolers where the two are the same at idle and at stock load and the dark knight being like 3c better at OC load, but that was single fan config

He is using the pc for gaming and will be overclocking not sure how much of an OC but is pairing with a Maximus V Gene, and yes he knows the i7 doesnt help in gaming but he wanted the i7 lol

Get the Dark Knight, because all AIO water coolers from H80 and below have low performance/price ratio for overclocking, meaing their performance can't be compared with an air cooler at the same price.

Eh, leave it at stock, really? Then he could get the H60 if he likes how it look. Phanteks PH-TC12DX would be another great option in this price range. Plenty of colors to choose from, too :bounce:

well if the OC isnt needed then he'd just run stock lol But the Phanteks looks pretty good.

Decided now between the phanteks and the dark knight II
