Looking for a Gaming Headset?

Hey guys! I am currently in the market for a gaming headset, and while I have been doing a decent amount of research, I would like to get a few opinions on headsets.

Before I do this however, there are some "requirements" that this headset has to have. First and foremost, it has to be mac-compatible. I game on pcs, macs, and macs running bootcamp, so versatility/compatibility is absolutely key. The price is fairly flexible at this point, so I am open to a variety of options. Also, if it changes your opinion, my next computer will most likely be a Retina MacBook Pro. As far as I know, the current rMBPs only have a headphone jack, rather than a headphone and microphone jack or combo port. I address this issue a little further below.

So here are a few of the headsets I have been looking at and I would love to get your opinions and hear any other recommendations you have!

Logitech G230
Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Omega
Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Wrath
Razer Kraken Pro
Astro A40s
CM Storm Sirus

Let me know what you guys think!

Also, I have one other quick question. I have heard that emulated 5.1 or 7.1 can suck, and for the most part, does suck at this point in time, but I have also heard very good things about the Creative Sound Blaster Recon 3D USB Soundcard. Would this, combined with say the Logitech G230 (an analog 2.1 headset), give me good quality sound for gaming/movies over USB rather than analog headphone/microphone ports (as the rMBP only has a headphone port).

Thank you so much!!
